Yuuko said that she got to the shop where Kaotan, Atchan (Inaba Atsuko) and she always eat and was surprised to see Yossi there too; she saw no seaweed. She was surprised that Yossi actually turned up since the latter had said her schedule's going to be quite hectic these few days. Rika came later after her work. Yuuko got another nice surprise when she saw Rika's face pop up from behind the door since no one had told her that Rika would be coming.

Yossi CDS @Osaka (27th Jun)
* Yossi wore the same outfit from STB.
* Audience can ask questions. They wrote their questions and dropped it in a box before the show started. During Q&A session, Yossi quietly skimmed through the questions before she said "a lot is about Rika-chan." She didn't answer any questions regarding Rika and summarized by saying "didn't I already said I like her?" as if all those questions had asked the same "Do you like Rika-chan". "Because I can't say I dislike her, it'll be terrible right?"
* When one question asked about Yossi's recent appearance in NHK wearing a yukata, Yossi said wearing the yukata reminded her of a scene in Tokyo Alice where Rika-chan was going 'a-re~~' and turning around and around. She wanted to try it too. (Note: I'm not so sure about this translation.)
* "When I came out from behind, I saw many posters along the way and one is Rika-chan's bus tour. 2 days 1 night tour. Ermm, maybe I should go."
* "Next time, I will like to sing one song by EXILE. It is a song I will always sing when I go karaoke with Rika-chan." (If you recall this post. LOVERS AGAIN? heh heh)

What Yui-chan said today in her live talk show.
"I saw Rika-chan in Gokigenyo that day and sent her an email to tell her that she looked cute. That night, a little drunk Rika called me. First she told me "thanks for the email" and then she said "I am gonna pass you to the person you like" and handed the call over to Yossi.

Yossi @STB 139 follow-up
Other things Yossi said in her MC.
* She's going back to short black crop. When the crowd made sounds of protest, Yossi asked for their understanding, saying her long hair was getting too troublesome to manage.
* She won't have an official blog because she knows she won't update it assiduously. She thinks it is a hassle to record when or where everything she's done.
* She seems really keen in running a marathon.
* She had injured herself through over training.

GATAS' sacas public practice - last (24th Jun)
Fans became worried when Yossi did not join in the practice.
Was the rumor about her being pregnant true then?
Not quite.
During STB, she mentioned that she strained her left shoulder while doing some muscle training. Apparently, the problem had gotten worse.
Therefore, she would be the umpire instead.
So, what happened next?
Well... when we have referee Yossi on the rampage~~~ who do you think will be the victim?
Ishikawa Rika, who else...
As the girls lined up to kick off, Rika suddenly said "chotto matta!" and left the playing court on her free will. Seeing that, Yossi then mimicked a red-card flashing gesture at Rika for her apparent contempt of authority. Actually, Rika had gone to pick up shin guards that all the players had forgotten to put on. Supporters were then treated to a rare sight of seeing the girls with their socks down putting on shin guards.
During play, Rika tried to trap a long ball with her chest with both her hands raised. A whistle was blown immediately. Although all players in court resumed play with Notchi quickly scoring a goal later, referee Yossi disallowed the goal and said Rika was fouled for handball. Rika quickly pleaded with the decision, and since no one had thought that it had been a foul because everybody just resumed play. But referee Yossi insisted that it was a handball and pointed to a spot for a free kick.
Now, everybody knew that was on purpose.
According to other reports, Rika was pure fun to watch. During a shooting practice, she even fumbled three times in a row, missing her mark ridiculously, bringing the supporters into a frenzy of laughter. When Rika looked towards Yossi, Yossi just shrugged and had a 'can't be helped' look Also Rika's image as a mother/manager of GATAS was clearly portrayed when she reminded everybody to put on their shin guards.
Yossi joined in the last PK shootout and scored.
As fans waited at the exit, they noticed that Rika left together with Notchi and Sengoku, sharing one car. Rika wore a black t-shirt. Yossi exited later; she wore black too, and left alone.
(Me says...) It's a well-known fact, at least among all Japanese 1444wotas, that Yossi reads 2ch reports.

A fan drew his experiences to GATAS' Sacas public practice on 17th Jun.
(Page 1) As he had seen Yossi in a 'live' TV show that day ( doing Tsuji's birthday comment, in wavy hair and donning Michael's hat), he somehow expected to see Yossi spotting wavy hair. But when Rika and Yossi made their entrance, Yossi's hair was straight and tied back in a ponytail.
(Page 2) Warming up time. The girls spilt into groups of two; Rika with Yossi. The stretching involves one person running after another onigokko style. He watched Rika running after Yossi and then Yossi after Rika. Both seemed bend not to get caught and to supporters, they actually looked like they were playing a game of catching.
(Page 5-2nd row) Yossi made fun of Rika's lack of stamina. (On Rika) "She even asked why there's no player change?". Rika pulled up her jersey and hid her face in embarrassment.
(Me says...) Many people, after attending the event, had actually talked about that Yossi and Rika's warming up in 2ch, because, apparently, the girls looked very happy chasing one another.

(Me says...) Schedule clash because of hAngry last minute trip to AX? This time, it seems UF 's really bend on reaching out to US fans. Or maybe Yossi didn't want to do the musical and after the advice from Yuki senpai, she now knew how to say 'no' diplomatically. Anyway this is good news to me. I never like the girls mixing with dregs (strong word?). Bad influence.
EDIT: Nakazawa Yuuko ne-san blogged that she just received a new role in a musical. Could she be the replace for Yossi? Talk is rife in jp2# forum that Yossi may be running in the Honolulu marathon, the one she recently talked about in a tv show, so her training would clash with the musical. During her STB event, she even joked and asked whether fans would form a tour group and go support her if she were to take part.

Yossi @STB 139 - Second show (20:30)
A fan's depiction of Yossi's outfit. Summer resort feel; bandana and big peace-sign ear rings. She changed into something else for the encore part.
The red ring shows where Rika sat. More people said that they, too, saw Yossi's mother at the first show.
2nd show MC 1:
Question: What kind of women do you look up to, or what kind of women will you want to be?
"Madonna? Marilyn Monroe? And who else? Recently in Tokyo Alice my image was flirtatious eh? Ermm... who else, who else? Mariah Carey? What type of woman... I like cute people. All right, those cutie type."
someone from the crowd: "C-ute."
"Cute? Yes, C-ute is cute. Berry is cute too. Well, Rikachan is cute~"
crowd: "WOO~"
"I just say it for the time being."
(Laughs)
2nd show MC 2:
When news of this got back to 2ch, even before the actual event has ended, it caused a big hoo-ha and mass celebration for 1444 wotas. Fans think that when Rika was not around, Yossi had gotten bold. The question asked what Yossi think of Rika apart from being in the same generation, no one had expected that Yossi would think of 'You mean do I like her?' because there are so many other things she can say. She could talk about their friendship, or the work they are doing togther now, but only GOD knows what's going on inside Yossi's head. And as if by saying she likes Rika wasn't enough, she had said 'she loves Rikachan'! And yet she didn't want fans to think the wrong way when she had used the milder 'like' word.
A male fan had gotten so disturbed by what Yossihad said that he actually called up his female friend and asked if it's common for a girl to tell her very best friend that she loves her (friendship-wise platonically) when the reply was 'It was gross!"
And then when Yossi was asked what kind of women she look up to, the question somehow became what kind of women she like. When Fans thought the cute topic had come to an end Yossi suddenly added "Rikachan is cute". Although Yossi quickly explained that she had just said it for this time being, it makes no sense at all since Rika wasn't there at the 2nd show. Totally gratuitous? You decide. >_<
(Me says...)Yossi seems to like songs from Kome Kome Club. Previously it was 'Aishiteru'. BTW, 'Kimi ga iru dake de' has very touching lyrics. I wonder how many times they have sang it during their karaoke sessions.

The Biggest Announcement!
On 21st June, at her STB show, Yoshizawa Hitomi officially said that she loves Ishikawa Rika.
Yossi @STB 139 - First show (17:00)
RIKA WENT TO SEE YOSSI!!!!!
And this is no rumor.
It was reported widely in Japanese forums.
Wotas were speculating if Rika would turn up since Yossi attended Rika's STB the last time. Most thought Rika would appear for the 2nd show, but the lady appeared for the first show and even before the lights were dimmed, so quite a number of people saw her. Apparently Rika sat where Yossi sat before, on the 2nd level. A co-star from Tokyo Alice was with her. Someone mentioned that Yossi's mother was there too, though this is yet to be verified, but there's no mistake that Rika was there!!!
Yossi wore a one-piece dress; a pink and long resort style skirt! I won't go into the song tracklist as it wasn't of importance, but there's something we must know. When Yossi was singing Kome Kome Club 'Kimi ga iru dake de', she kept stealing glances at the 2nd floor.
One wota wrote this after the event: I didn't know Rika was present since I had sat at the ground level. When Yossi was singing Kome Kome Club 'Kimi ga iru dake de', I noticed that she was looking up and I had thought foolishly to myself if only Rika was here and Yossi was looking at her. It was only after the show that I learned that Rika was really present. Saikou!

"On 11th of October, I'll have another show here. Do come again. Do write 'Yossi' in your schedule diary for that day. Now with me, a song request survey you have filled in for October's show ( bla bla bla....) V-u-den's Hitorijime. Eh... You mean this?"
(Yossi then walked sideway across the stage as if a crab walking)
(crowd laughed)
"And MINIMONI's Janken pyon? No way!"
(Crowd laughed)
"Won't it hurt?"
Crowd: "It'll be all right."
"I'll think about it then. And, well, Melon Kinenbi's too erotic, the ambience here is moody, or maybe I can set up a pole here?" (erotic pole dancing)
(crowd clapped and cheered)
"Kill Me Kiss Me. Ermm, this is a 2-girl rock group right? Should I call Angry to come?"
(Crowd cheered loudly)
"Maybe Angry should write "11th October - hAngry" in her schedule diary too."
(crowd laughed)
"And 'Rikashite onna no ko?"

"... this is Ishikawa Rika-chan's song right? That's a very high-pitched song!"

In case you wanna know...
Some of you may be wondering what's up with Yossi covering herself in green.
Yes, she covered herself from head to toe in GREEN! GREEN!
At first I thought Yossi was attending a private Yuuko's birthday party, because she's with Yaguchi and Natchi, and I was already thinking if Rika would appear and if she did, what would she be wearing. It looked as if a costume party based on Yossi's attire.
Turned out, the three of them were actually special guests of Yuuko's CDS (Birthday Live show) and Yossi had dressed herself as a seaweed! That's why she's all green. Apparently, the reason behind the seaweed theme is that Yossi and Yuuko had been talking about 'mozuku' and Yossi had 'warned' Yuuko that a seaweed might appear, though nobody really expected Yossi to mean this instead.
And...
Yaguchi started a little game. She planned to meet 25 current and ex momusu members in two days. Yossi was #2 and Rika was #9. Yaguchi met Yossi yesterday and Rika today. Actually today, Yaguchi was planning to meet Kei, who became #8, when she learned that Kei was dining with Rika. Hence it was killing two birds with one stone. When Yaguchi was with Kemeko and Rika, she suddenly felt nostalgic and reminisced the last time the three of them, plus missing Yossi, drinking throughout the night. They had so much fun and now she hoped they could do it again.
(Me says...) Yossi's STB is tomorrow (21st Jun) so she's probably busy rehearsing today.

ISHIYOSHI sightings!
Someone from mixi wrote that s/he met Ishikawa Rina and Yoshizawa Hitomi at her/his workplace today. S/he said that although celebrities often come to the shop (meaning it's no big deal), s/he just felt like blogging it.

This time, more fans await as the girls were ready to leave after their sacas public practice.
One reported: There were company wagons parked outside so we waited there. After 30 mins of waiting, the new member who is wearing jersey number 30 came out first and said 'otsukaresan' to us. Another new member said 'arigatou'. Five minutes later, Sengoku, Sawa-chan and Koretty came out. They waved at us when we cheered. Five more minutes later, Rika and Yossi came out. Rika was wearing a long floral dress and was looking very cute. Yossi was wearing a stylish-looking black cap and had her long hair tied up. She looked, as always, stylish in black vest and jeans. They turned and slightly nodded in recognition when we cheered 'Rikachan' 'Yossi'. I remember Rika's smile. But I didn't see Konno. There were many girls in the first batch. Maybe she left together with them. My mission to wait for her had failed.

Rika @Gokigenyou
Rika in Gokigenyou was truly entertaining.
There are things about Rika we should now know.
* Rika loves her family right profile. Whenever she is out with her mother or sisters, Rika always walk on the right as she carries her bag over her right shoulder. So, she always see her family right profile. Thus she loves it, because whenever she sees it, it means she's together with them.
* Rika loves karaage (deep-fried food), dislikes live birds, and is very particular about the juices she drinks.
16th Jun topic: Idol Gap 10
Rika was asked to name 10 changes in her (being an idol).
1. Oyaji kusai - She uses 'old men' languages.
2. Osake nomu - She drinks sake. Before she only drinks umeboshi, but recently she enjoys wine.
3. TOILET iku - She will go to the washroom. This drew laughter from the audience but the host knew what Rika was trying to say because apparently in Japan, Idols don't visit public washrooms.
4. Private wardrobe is out of fashion - Last time she always heard members say that her dressing was bad. When she went shopping, she would just buy the whole set on a mannequin since she thought it must be good if it was on display. Nowadays, her younger sister is her clothes coordinator. I don't know what the topic means but Rika talked about being bullied when young.
Case 1: Rika remember during her Primary 3 school days that her class had 15 students. Once, one of the students birthday was approaching and she realized she wasn't invited to the birthday party. Actually two weren't invited, but it turned out it was because the other girl couldn't make it as she was away. When Rika told her mother about being left out, her mother told her 'Don't go then' as if it wasn't a big deal. However, when Rika celebrated her birthday, her mother had told her to invite everybody from the class, and they all came.
Case 2: Rika loved to collect erasers, such as those fruit and vegetable-shaped ones that smell like the real thing. Once, she brought a collection of it to school and it got stolen. She let the matter go, but one day when she went to a classmate's place she found her rubber collection there. Although she didn't approach her classmate, her classmate, too, hadn't bother to return or apologize for the theft. When Rika got home, she told her mother about her stolen erasers but was scolded instead for searching around people's home. The host interrupted and felt Rika's mother had done the right thing instead of sympathizing and saying how pitiful Rika was, an action that would turn the child into a whiner. The host then asked Rika if she is now grateful to her mother, Rika agreed whole-heartedly.
Case 3: After school, Rika would take the bus home with 3 or 4 other classmates. One time, she couldn't find her friends at the bus-stop and went around searching for them. Then she called home and told her mother that her friends were missing and her mother told her to wait where she was. As Rika's home was near the bus stop, her mother then stood outside waiting. When Rika's friends really came back without Rika, she approached them and asked "Where's Rika?". Rika's friends fumbled with their answers and apologized, then she said "Next time, please wait for Rika" and went and fetch Rika, who had been waiting for an hour. The host felt Rika's mother had handled the situation well.
Back then, Rika didn't feel that she was bullied; in fact, she thought her childhood days were happy. Only now when she recounted such incidents and her listeners told her "You're being bullied!" that she realized she was a victim of bullying. Thus the host thinks Rika has a great mother.
18th Jun: Kikkake (explanation: an excuse to change)
For Rika, it was 'chain', door chain.
"I live alone now, but before, I lived with my older sister. Because of work, my older sister often came home later than me. I would be asleep by the time she got back, and she would chain up the door. But there were times when I would get home later than her and would find the door chained from inside. Then I had to call her and she would come open it, apologizing. When it happened not once but twice consecutively, I told her "stop it please" as it was late and the kachan kachan noise the door made against the chain restrain would disturb the neighbours. Then the 3rd time came. It was very late at 3am in the morning and I found myself locked out again. I called her cell phone but she's asleep, dead to the world. Then I called the house's phone and despite the loud ringing, she would not wake up. I was desperate to get in as I was very tired so I called up our mother, and it was 3am. She answered and wondered what's wrong. I told her "I couldn't get in because sister chained up the door, WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?" and became angry at her instead. Then my mother said my sister had two cell phones and I could try both numbers. I said 'Wait a minute, I never knew sister had another cell phone number." My mother said she would try calling and sure enough, my sister woke up and opened the door for me. I was so angry that I told my sister never to chain up again, but she objected. So I am now living alone.
Host: "You stopped living together with your sister because of this matter?"
"Well, not really, there are other things."
There are things about Rika we should now know.
* Rika loves her family right profile. Whenever she is out with her mother or sisters, Rika always walk on the right as she carries her bag over her right shoulder. So, she always see her family right profile. Thus she loves it, because whenever she sees it, it means she's together with them.

Rika was asked to name 10 changes in her (being an idol).
1. Oyaji kusai - She uses 'old men' languages.
2. Osake nomu - She drinks sake. Before she only drinks umeboshi, but recently she enjoys wine.
3. TOILET iku - She will go to the washroom. This drew laughter from the audience but the host knew what Rika was trying to say because apparently in Japan, Idols don't visit public washrooms.
4. Private wardrobe is out of fashion - Last time she always heard members say that her dressing was bad. When Yossi made fun of Rika and introduced her as "the person who had no stamina", Rika pulled up her jersey collar and hid her face in shame.
According to more blog reports, Yossi and Rika were really (and I mean really) stuck to each other throughout the whole event.
(Me says...) Have you ever seen Yossi shown that much interest in a girl other than Rika? And it has been GOD damned TEN years. Even you won't show that much enthusiasm in your very very best friend after ten years right? Someone is definitely courting someone.

Tsuji's birthday party
Rika was at Tsuji's birthday party. According to Tsuji, Rika appeared wearing her GATAS uniform, and Tsuji was very happy that Rika had turned up for her birthday bash. Apparently, Rika is the only h!p member who attended the party.
(Me says...) Ever since all the hoo-ha that was caused whenever Rika and Yossi were mentioned being together in some private gatherings - usually from fellow h!p members' blogs - I have a hunch that I might never read about them hanging out together in private again. Soon, I even have this funny notion that sometimes Yossi may be there too, but was purposefully left out in the girls' blog reports, as if they all knew about the pair's 'don't ask, don't tell' situation. Yeah... my wishful thinking~ >_<

GATAS sacas public practice 10th Jun official report

GATAS 2nd Sacas public practice report. Rika, Konno and someone else (sorry for not knowing her name) arrived later.
(Not in the report, but from a fan's blog) Upon arrival Rika walked into the court bowing and apologising. When she wanted to start practicing right away, the coach stopped her and had her do warm up at the side first.
Later, when doing her closing speech, Yossi wished fans will come practice in the Sacas courts as GATAS will too. They will practice together. When the crowd went 'ehh~' and Rika tsukkomi back 'together, as in really together?' Yossi said: "I mean since it's the same court, fans will feel like they are practicing together with GATAS. This fan also noted how Rika and Yossi were always sticking to each other after Rika had arrived. Even their actions seemed sychronized.
And in case you wanna know...
Turnout at Rika's talkshow at a Electrical carnival was pathetic. Fans noticed that the audience were mainly ojisans who seem like they have all the time in the world and nothing to do.
(Me says...) Doing such shows are really depressing... especially when it feels like you are performing to an unappreciative and inattentive crowd.

In another fan's blog, s/he mentioned how s/he noticed Rika, who turned up late for Wednesday's practice, is the mood maker of GATAS. Before Rika's arrival, everybody was looking serious, especially Yossi (blogger noticed) who was looking every bit a captain and behaving prim and proper; the playing mood was solemn. But after Rika had arrived, the overall playing mood began to loosen up and even Yossi was smiling more. They tsukkomu one another and at the side bench, they were always talking happily. Last week, Rika with Miki was fun to watch too, that's what s/he likes about GATAS.

GATAS sacas public practice 10th Jun
Yesterday's practice kicked off without Rika. Just when i shi yo shi supporters thought their fav. pair was missing one again, they were treated to a little surprise when halfway through Rika turned up and joined in the practice. Later at the bench, Yossi and Rika were always seated together and talking to one another.
Someone spotted how the girls left the venue. First to leave were Rika and Yossi. Rika had donned a black cap/hat and had looked really stylish and although Yossi was in her normal clothes, she was no less prettier. Both girls then left together in a wagon car. Next were Konno and four others not-so-popular-just-joined GATAS members; the five of them left in a wagon taxi. Third batch to leave were Koretty, Notchi, Sawa-chan and Minami. They left in another wagon taxi.
(side note: Some fans were chiding the earlier fan for 'stalking'the girls. Apparently, Wotas think that spying on the girls at a venue's exit/entrance is wrong and such lowly practice shouldn't be encouraged.)
(Me says...) I have no idea what measurements wotas use for their yardstick. Everything is considered wrong unless it's their own doings. >_<

Recently...
Something I let slip to the back of my mind until now. >_<
During a MC of Kemeko and Marippe joint dinner show, Kemeko said that Rika yesterday texted and asked her when they can go drinking again. Marippe thinks it's ok to talk about drinking (alcohol) since Rika is already an adult. Kemeko said Rika looks cute when drunk. Marippe thinks so too, but thinks Yossi, who drinks wine, shochu and hiresake, and who can hold her liquor better than anyone else is not cute at all. She thinks Yossi even surpass Kemeko in holding her liquor now. Kemeko then said Yossi'll get interesting once she's drunk, and she's actually 'an uncle' trapped behind a pretty face, which made the crowd lol.
